Wolphram is an independent research laboratory. We build software that runs on the developer's machine: no cloud dependency for core operation, no data leaving the device.

Wolphram Labs

The research division. Where everything begins.

Wolphram Labs is a small, deliberate research practice. Every project starts here as a question: How should local intelligence feel? How should it reason? What new design paradigm under local intelligence enables us to do more? When a project earns its way out of the lab, we either release it as open source or distribute it through Wolphram. Nothing ships before it is honest.

In the lab

One project in development. One planned.

Planned · MIT

Wolphram Workbench

A modular toolkit for benchmarking and running local models on Apple Silicon. Reproducible runs, transparent scoring, and tools for quantization, fine-tuning, and evaluation under real hardware constraints.

macOS · MIT
In development · Apache 2.0

Wolphram CLI

A local orchestration layer for model routing, semantic caching, and prompt compression. Routes each request to the cheapest capable model, strips prompts to a minimal skeleton before dispatch, and caches repeated patterns locally. Target: 80 to 90 percent cost reduction at equal output quality.

About us

Intelligence belongs to the people who use it.

The software a developer runs daily should sit on their own machine, cost a fraction of what cloud-only solutions charge, and never route data through a service they did not choose. That is the kind of tooling Wolphram builds.

We measure ourselves by efficiency, precision, and how much control our tools give back to the engineer using them. Anything else is sleight of hand.

Wolphram is independent and intends to stay that way.
